Josepha was born in southwest France in 1950.
From her mother’s Italian origins, she inherited her first name and, no doubt, her creativity.
Her first job was as a fashion designer, and her collections of leathers and hats brought her international success with which many others would have been satisfied. But Josepha had a burning desire to experiment with other materials.
Her meeting with the man who now shares her life, himself a sculptor and art teacher, was to prove decisive.
In 1992, she decided to devote herself body and soul to sculpture.
Her lively, poetic style immediately asserted itself in clay, stone and bronze. With polyester, it takes on a dreamlike dimension, characterized by feminine forms reduced to the essential, enhanced by a luxuriance of color effects.
Josepha currently lives in the Drôme countryside and her work is exhibited in numerous galleries worldwide.
